Kalorama Village is dedicated to helping seniors in our neighborhood who want to maintain their independence in their own homes.  Kalorama Village members can find services and information in two ways:  First, through the SeniorChecked network of vetted and authenticated service companies provides Village members with access to a comprehensive list of services, through one toll-free number (1-866-650-7226) or Web site (www.seniorchecked.com).  Second, through our own “Word of Mouth” and “Close to Home” listings.

SeniorChecked Support Center specialists can provide Village members with referrals to SeniorChecked providers, including:

•Transportation

•Meal delivery

•Home maintenance & modifications

•Housekeeping & laundry

•In-home health care assistance

•Personal assistance

•Emergency response systems

•Computer training

•Patient advocacy

•Information & community referrals

These are local service providers that have been vetted and qualified by SeniorChecked.

Kalorama Village has also compiled a “Word of Mouth” and “Close to Home” list of service providers, which you can access by clicking here. The businesses on this informal list have been used satisfactorily in the past by neighbors.
